Available from April until October, ensuite, double accommodation in Closeburn near Thornhill in Dumfriesshire, 11 miles north of Dumfries and 1.5 miles south of Thornhill. Ideally located to explore the South West corner of Scotland or a good place to break en-route to other areas of the Country.
The accommodation is in a log cabin with ensuite facilities, sofa, TV/DVD, hairdryer, kitchenette with microwave, toaster and tea/coffee making facilties, and private verandah with outdoor furniture.
The setting is both beautiful and relaxing and is ideal for people who love wildlife as our regular garden vistors include red squirrels and a wide range of birds.
There is easy access to the property which is set back from the main road in large grounds with private parking near the accommodation.
Nearby thornhill is a pleasant and thriving town with a good choice of shops offering the full range of provisions as well as a few more unusal boutiques and shops selling antiques and local arts and crafts. It has a good range of cafes and pubs and the delightful grounds of Drumlanrig Castle are approximately 4 miles north of the town.
2012 rate and availability:
£50.00 for the room per night with continental style breakfast including fresh fruit, bread selection and eggs (special diets catered for with advanced notice).
